Legend Story Studios in partnership with Star City Games are proud to announce that Pro Tour #3 will take place April 27-30, 2023 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, featuring both Classic Constructed and Outsiders Booster Draft formats!

The Pro Tour and World Championship are the absolute pinnacle of Flesh and Blood TCG competitive play, and Pro Tour Baltimore will crown our third Flesh and Blood Pro Tour Champion! Pro Tour Baltimore will feature the best players from across the globe battling for $200,000 USD in cash, Gold Cold Foil prize cards, and of course the title and trophy!

Come together in the flesh and blood through the common language of playing great games and join us in Baltimore for a fantastic weekend of competition, socialising and fun! Saturday will start off with a 2-Day Classic Constructed Calling, with an increased cash prize pool of $30,000 USD, Professional Tournament Invitations (PTIs), and Gold Cold Foil Legendary prize cards, while Sunday will feature a Blitz Battle Hardened event with $2,000 USD, PTIs, a Gold Cold Foil Legendary prize card and more on the line!

In addition to the Calling and Battle Hardened events, there will be an exciting assortment of public events on offer, including Ultimate Pit Fights (multiplayer), Commoner, Sealed Deck, Booster Draft, and much more coming soon! For our fantastic community of cosplayers, the Cosplay Competition will return, with a Cold Foil Taylor Promo Card on the line for the winner.

All Pro Tour players must submit their Classic Constructed decklist by Thursday April 27, 2023 at 11:59 pm EDT, Baltimore local time.

ELIGIBILITY

The Pro Tour is an invitation only event. All players need to pre-register for the event. Players can qualify for Pro Tour: Baltimore in the following ways:

• Obtaining an invitation to Pro Tour Baltimore through an in-store ProQuest Season 3 event.
• Ratings-based invitations will be issued based on standings as of Monday, January 30th, 2023 at 11:59 pm PST, directly following the end of ProQuest Season 3. Pro Tour Baltimore Invitations will be offered to players ranked in the Top 50 on the Global Leaderboards for:
  • 90-day XP
  • Lifetime XP
  • Constructed Elo
  • Limited Elo
  • Ratings based invites do not pass down and are valid only for Pro Tour Baltimore.
• Redeeming a PTI (Professional Tournament Invitation) obtained from a previous event, such as a National Championship or Calling.
  • Redeeming a PTI - PTIs can be redeemed by emailing protour@fabtcg.com with your name and GEM player ID. The player redeeming their PTI must send this email from the same email address registered to their GEM player account. PTI redemptions can be submitted up until Friday, April 21st at 11:59 pm PST. If the player does not attend the Pro Tour, their PTI will still be deemed to have been used.
  • Gifting a PTI - A player may also gift a PTI to another player by emailing protour@fabtcg.com with your name and GEM player ID number, and the name and GEM ID number of the recipient. The player gifting the PTI must send this email from the same email address registered to their GEM player account. PTI gifting requests can be submitted up until Friday, April 14th at 11:59 pm PST. Please note that a gifted PTI must be used by the recipient to play at Pro Tour Baltimore. If the recipient does NOT attend Pro Tour Baltimore, the PTI will cease to exist.

Prizes

Pro Tour Baltimore will feature $200,000 USD of cash prizes, PTIs for the top 32 players, Gold Legendary cards for the Top 8 players and a Pro Tour Champion prize card for the winner!

The Calling: Baltimore will take place using the Classic Constructed format, with $30,000 USD of Cash Prizes, Professional Tournament Invitations (PTIs), and Gold Cold Foil Legendary prize cards!

This event is the perfect opportunity for players without a Pro Tour invitation to experience the Outsiders Classic Constructed metagame at a professional level, as well as giving players who didn't make Day 2 of the Pro Tour a chance to 'go again'.

The Calling is an open-entry tournament - no invitation required, everyone is welcome to play!

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

ALL decklists must be submitted prior to the start of Day 1. Spaces in Calling Baltimore will be reserved for players who do not make the Day 2 cut for the Pro Tour.

SCHEDULE

• Saturday - Calling Day 1:
  • At the conclusion of the final round of Swiss on Day 1, there will be a cut to the Top 48, 64, or 72 players (depending on number of players) or to all players with X-2 or better records, whichever is greater. These players will progress to the Calling Day 2.

• Sunday - Calling Day 2:
  • At the conclusion of the final round of Swiss, there will be a cut to the Top 8 players who will progress to a Top 8 single elimination playoff.
  • Prize ceremony at the conclusion of the Top 8 playoffs.

TOP 8

• Top 8 playoffs are single elimination, best-of-one matches.
• Top 8 matches have no time limit. Players are expected to play at a reasonable pace and Slow Play penalties will be enforced.
• For each Top 8 match, the player that finished higher in the Swiss portion of the event chooses to play first or second.

DECKS

• Decks must be Classic Constructed legal as defined by the Card Legality Policy.
• Deck registration must be done PRIOR to the start of the event
• Players may not change their registered deck during the tournament.
• Deck checks will be conducted by event staff throughout the tournament.
• It is the responsibility of each player to ensure there are no distinguishing marks or patterns on their cards or card sleeves for the duration of the tournament. Vendors will be onsite to purchase sleeves if required.

PRIZES

The path to the biggest stage in Flesh and Blood TCG Organized Play begins with a Professional Tournament Invitation (PTI), and one of the best places to secure these prized assets is Battle Hardened with PTIs awarded to both finalists! PTIs can be used to enter any Professional level tournament, including Pro Tours and the World Championship, and do not expire, compared to invitations from ProQuest events that are only valid for the associated Pro Tour event they feed.
