We will have four rounds of swiss followed by a cut to top 4, and 100% of the entry fee will be returned as prize support!

1st place: $120 store credit
2nd place: $80 store credit

Skirmish Season 9

The legends of yesteryear return for another chance at glory! Minmax is excited to host our season 9 skirmish event, which will be using the living legends format. Players will have the opportunity to bring old favorites out of retirement in a no holds barred competition!
When: August 24th @ Noon
Where: Minmax Games at 1135 W National Ave, Addison IL 60101
Event Structure: The event will be paired using swiss rounds at a casual rules enforcement level. The exact number of rounds, as well as the final cut, will depend on the number of players. As this is a casual event, decklists will NOT be required.
Entry Fee: $20
Prize Support: 1st place will get a cold foil Blaze, Firemind, a new young wizard hero. Top four players will receive a cold foil channel mount heroic, and all participants will receive either a lightning form or an earth form promo at random. Each player will receive a pack per win in the swiss rounds, and $10 of each entry will go into a pool to be paid out to the top four. Finally, one randomly chosen participant will receive the Just a Nick playmat!
