Recap: Battle Hardened Atlanta

Aug 24, 2023 Kasharn Rao

More than 120 players rode the Aurora Trails to Atlanta last weekend, raising bows high to get some target practice in before Nationals!

A Classic Constructed gauntlet dominated by Lexi ended in one player claiming the lion's share of $2000 USD, another step forward in Flesh and Blood's world famous pro play circuit.

Lexi hit a bullseye again on Sunday, completely stomping the PTI Event. You can't escape that signature feeling of biting cold and electric tingle, it's everywhere!

Battle Hardened

There's no doubt about it - complete Lexi sweep! Not only was the Elemental Ranger the most popular in the room, she snapped up an unbelievably high number of top cut seats!

While it has been charming to see the long-forsaken Ranger class finally have some limelight, especially a hero that requires a fair deal of deckbuilding skill, Lexi is steadily painting a target on her own back.

With a flurry of arrows, victory came to Taylor Crawford in a down to the wire mirror match against Matthew McInnis.

Congratulations to Taylor, and to the rest of our Top 8 competitors!

PTI Event

Eager to please the crowd, Lexi utterly outdid herself on Sunday, once again claiming the title of prom queen, as well as a majority of top cut spots.

With Nationals only days away, everyone is watching nervously to see just how far the reign of arrows will stretch? Has she gone too far? Who can take her down?

Daniel Rutkowski made a valiant effort to eliminate the Elemental Ranger with an icy arcane approach (a deviation from his usual fiery fervour), but ultimately couldn't prevent Lexi from claiming another win.

Daniel wasn't the only player to make a double day top cut appearance, with Pro Tour: Baltimore champ Michael Feng proving he's still a complete monster with or without a hammer!

Congratulations to William Bradshaw, and to the rest of our Top 8 competitors!
