What a year.
We’re finally at the end of 2023, and with the promise of friends, family, and festivities on the way, now is a chance to kick back, relax, and pat yourselves on the back for completing yet another milestone. Our community has grown so much and we’re unbelievably grateful for what each and every one of you brings to the table. Our own studio has grown too, we’re a huge team now - WITH A BRAND NEW OFFICE!
It’s been an exceptional year for Flesh and Blood! This year we:
- Launched in Japan
- Released our 10th set
- Hit 100,000 Armory Events
- Had the biggest Skirmish Season ever
- Welcomed our 4000th local game store
- Put the Professor on a card
- Got our own category on Twitch
- Hosted our second ever World Championship in Barcelona
- Won Excellence in Brand Storytelling at the New Zealand International Business Awards
- Delivered a $1,000,000 USD prize pool to players all over the world
- Cheered as Azalea finally won a Calling
- Released the documentary Store to Stage: The Evolution of Flesh and Blood TCG
- Said goodbye to several longtime favourite heroes who achieved Living Legend
And many more things that we’re very proud of. And look, yes we know how cheesy this sounds but we couldn’t have done it without you. You are the life and soul of Flesh and Blood, and over the next few weeks when you’re taking it easy, having a few brews with mates, catching up with relatives, watching as we reveal the contestants of the Deathmatch Arena to the fanfare of a roaring crowd, and just generally having a good ol hoon, we want you to be proud of the story you are writing together.
Keep standing up for each other and what you believe in, keep sharing the laughs and banter, keep reaching out to support one another or to seek support yourself. You are important. You matter.
