The Calling series returns to Europe with Calling: Utrecht! We've partnered with the team at tournamentcenter to bring high-level competitive play back to Europe, this time featuring the Classic Constructed & Booster Draft formats. With a European Champions' Battle, a Calling, and a Battle Hardened event, there's plenty of opportunity to test your mettle.

Between Calling and the Battle Hardened, there are a total of 10 Professional Tournament Invitations (PTIs) on offer, providing you your ticket to the largest and most exclusive tournaments in Flesh and Blood, including the upcoming Pro Tour: Lille! [NB: this event page previously said 16, but this has been corrected - there are 8 available to the Top 8 players of the Calling: Utrecht, and 2 to the finalists of the Battle Hardened event.]

Tournament Information

• 6 Classic Constructed Swiss rounds (followed by Top 8 cut)
• Top 8 - Single Elimination Classic Constructed (untimed)
  • Top 8 playoff matches are timed
  • In the Top 8, the player that finished higher in the Standings during the Swiss rounds chooses either to play first or second.
• Swiss rounds are 55 minutes in duration (Players must reveal their hero when the start of the round is announced, and must present their deck and reveal their equipment and weapons within five minutes of the start of the round)

DECKS

• Decks must be Classic Constructed legal as defined by the Card Legality Policy.
• Players may not change their registered deck during the tournament.
• Deck checks will be conducted by event staff throughout the tournament.
• It is the responsibility of each player to ensure there are no distinguishing marks or patterns on their cards or card sleeves for the duration of the tournament. Vendors will be onsite to purchase sleeves if required.

  • 2-4 rounds Classic Constructed
  • Top 8 cut

Swiss rounds:

Top 8:

• Top 8 playoffs are single elimination, best-of-one matches.
• Top 8 matches have no time limit. Players are expected to play at a reasonable pace and Slow Play penalties will be enforced.
• For each Top 8 match, the player that finished higher in the Swiss portion of the event chooses to play first or second.

DECKS

• Decks must be legal as defined by the Card Legality Policy.
• Players may not change their registered deck during the tournament.
• Deck checks will be conducted by event staff throughout the tournament.

Prizes

The path to the biggest stage in Flesh and Blood TCG Organized Play begins with a Professional Tournament Invitation (PTI), and one of the best places to secure these prized assets is Battle Hardened with PTIs awarded to both finalists! You read that correctly, there is not one but two PTIs on offer at Battle Hardened, along with a heap of other great prizes!

PTIs can be used to enter any Professional level tournament, including Pro Tours and the World Championship, and do not expire, compared to invitations from ProQuest events that are only valid for the associated Pro Tour event they feed.

• Top 8 - Single Elimination Uprising draft (untimed)
  • Top 8 playoff matches will have no time limit. (Players are still expected to play at a normal pace and complete playoff matches in a reasonable amount of time.)
  • In the Top 8, the player that finished higher in the Standings during the Swiss rounds chooses either to play first or second.
