What is Part the Mistveil Pre-Release Weekend?

Celebrate the latest booster set with Pre-Release events, allowing players to come together and open packs ahead of release weekend. 

What is the format for Pre-Release?
Part the Mistveil Sealed Deck is the format for this event. Please note that Part the Mistveil Sealed Deck events use 8 booster packs per player for the event. Additionally, 1 pack per player for participation and 1 pack per player entered into the prize pool will be provided not to be used in the event.

The standard length for a Sealed Deck round is 30 minutes + 5 minutes for start of game procedure, running 3-4 swiss rounds to give players a chance to experience the new cards and set.

What is in the pre-release kit?
Each player receives a Part the Mistveil 10-card Pre-Release pack which includes:

• 1 random equipment (Rainbow Foil) Promo Card (14 different variants)
• 1 random ?????? (Cold Foil) Promo Card (3 different variants)
• 2 ?????? (Rainbow Foil Extended Art) Promo Cards
• 6 Token Cards

Please note that Part the Mistveil boosters will not be sold under any circumstances prior to the official street release date (May 31st).

Part the Mistveil Blitz Deck Collection Early Access

Part the Mistveil Pre-Release stores will be able to conduct early access in-store sales of the Part the Mistveil Blitz Deck Collection, where available, during the Pre-Release weekend of May 24th-27th.

Release weekend will feature Play Day Events, intended to be a fun, low-stakes way for casual players to enjoy exploring new cards from Part the Mistveil.

The suggested format for Play Day Events is Blitz Preconstructed, with players ideally using Blitz Decks from the Part the Mistveil Blitz Collection box set, or alternatively a Heavy Hitters Blitz Deck.

Local game stores who host Armory Events will receive a 6-card Play Day promo pack as part of their June Armory Kit. The promo pack includes two rainbow foil copies of each signature weapon belonging to the three heroes in Part the Mistveil.

It is recommended that the first six players who sign up to play as a Part the Mistveil hero receive a Play Day promo, and that where possible, they receive the rainbow foil signature weapon for the hero they are playing.
