Journey to the birthplace of Flesh and Blood to engage in the bloodiest battle Rathe has ever seen! Enter the ring with an entire weekend of Heavy Hitters at Calling: Queenstown in New Zealand from January 19th-21st, 2024.

All your favourite FAB faces will be squaring off in a once-in-a-lifetime Celebrational, taking place at Skyline Queenstown from January 17th-18th. Our list of esteemed invited guests will throw down in a round robin tournament spread across multiple formats. The rest of the community is warmly welcomed to come along and spectate the playoffs!

If you're heading down to Queenstown early, grab a gondola ticket and watch the action! The event will also be live streamed from our YouTube channel for those of you who can't make it!

Throw yourself into the ring headfirst on Friday with the World Premiere of Heavy Hitters! Tearing through packs of the new set, players will build their decks and witness first hand how vicious the arena can be!

The real Deathmatch begins with the Calling, as players throw hands in a savage Heavy Hitters Sealed Deck showdown! The weak will be crushed as veterans fight tooth and nail in Day 2 with Heavy Hitters Booster Draft. But only one will rise above the rest to be crowned Champion, seizing the victor’s share of $20,000!

Bloodshed doesn’t stop there as players bond over their battle scars with a Heavy Hitters Team Sealed Battle Hardened! Learn from harsh lessons, build up from bare bones, claim your cut of $3,000, and watch as the crowd goes wild!

Tournament Information

SWISS ROUNDS

• Swiss rounds are best-of-one.
• Swiss rounds are 30 + 5 minutes in duration. (30 + 5 means there are 5 minutes allocated for the start of game procedure. Players must have presented their deck and revealed their equipment and weapons within this 5 minute window. If both players complete the start of game procedure in less than 5 minutes, they may begin playing their match immediately.)
• The number of rounds of Swiss is determined by the number of players at the beginning of round 1.

TOP 8

• Top 8 playoffs are single elimination, best-of-one matches.
• Top 8 matches have no time limit. Players are expected to play at a reasonable pace and Slow Play penalties will be enforced.
• For each Top 8 match, the player that finished higher in the Swiss portion of the event chooses to play first or second.

DECKS

• Card Pool Registration must be done PRIOR to the start of the Round 1, and after the completion of each Booster Draft.
• Deck checks will be conducted by event staff throughout the tournament.
• It is the responsibility of each player to ensure there are no distinguishing marks or patterns on their cards or card sleeves for the duration of the tournament. Vendors will be onsite to purchase sleeves if required.

Prizes

The path to the biggest stage in Flesh and Blood TCG Organized Play begins with a Professional Tournament Invitation (PTI), and one of the best places to secure these prized assets is Battle Hardened.

Teams will have the opportunity to battle it out for their share of 3,000 USD in cash prizes, exclusive Battle Hardened series playmats to the Top 4, Gold Foils to the Champions, and coveted Professional Tournament Invites (PTIs) to the top finishing team.

PTIs can be used to enter any Professional level tournament (including Pro Tours and the World Championship) and do not expire, whereas invitations from the in-store ProQuest series are only valid for their associated Pro Tour event.
