Battle Hardened: Salt Lake City

Head over mountains and into one of your last competitive events before the National Championship Season. The Battle Hardened series lands in Salt Lake City! From August 4th-6th, you can join the action starting on Friday with the Super Armory, followed by the Classic Constructed Salt Lake City Brawl, and ending the weekend with a Blitz Battle Hardened tournament on Sunday. The Realm Games is hosting this special weekend event, in collaboration with Kayfabe Cards, as part of their Brawl series, which additionally confers invites to their independent tournament circuit, culminating with The Realm Games Invitational, coming later this year.

The weekend starts with a Super Armory event. Normally, an Armory Kit is provided to stores to support a full month of in-store events, but at a Super Armory, the full contents of a kit are used for one single event, meaning that all Top 8 players get prizes, instead of just the winner! The prizes for this event include Cold Foil Promos and official Flesh and Blood playmats.

Prizes

Legend Story Studios has supplied the Professional Tournament Invitation (PTI) as well as the Random Drop Gold Cold Foil Legendary Prize card for the winner of this event. All other prizes, realm qualifying points, and realm invites, are awarded and administered by The Realm Games.

The path to the biggest stage in Flesh and Blood TCG Organized Play begins with a Professional Tournament Invitation (PTI), and one of the best places to secure these prized assets is Battle Hardened.

Players will have the opportunity to battle it out for their share of $2,000 USD in cash prizes, exclusive Battle Hardened series playmats to the Top 8, a Golden Cold Foil Legendary card to the Champion, and coveted Professional Tournament Invites (PTIs) to both the winner and runner-up.

PTIs can be used to enter any Professional level tournament (including Pro Tours and the World Championship) and do not expire, whereas invitations from the in-store ProQuest series are only valid for their associated Pro Tour event.

Swiss Rounds

• Swiss rounds are best-of-one.
• Swiss rounds are 30 + 5 minutes in duration. (50 + 5 means there are 5 minutes allocated for the start of game procedure. Players must have presented their deck and revealed their equipment and weapons within this 5 minute window. If both players complete the start of game procedure in less than 5 minutes, they may begin playing their match immediately.)
• The number of rounds of Swiss is determined by the number of players at the beginning of round 1.

Top 8

Top 8 playoff matches will have no time limit. (Players are still expected to play at a normal pace and complete playoff matches in a reasonable amount of time.)
