Transparent and robust policy documentation is essential for establishing clear expectations between fans and Legend Story Studios. These policies outline what we expect from you, what you can expect from us, and, in certain instances—such as the Tournament Rules and Policy—what you can expect from each other.
However, more important than the policy itself is consistently acting in a manner that honors and respects the intent of that policy.
Over the past few years, many collectors have noticed our consistent approach to rainbow foil reprints—specifically, that we have not reprinted rainbow foil cards unless they feature new artwork (with one exception being the Classic Battles: Rhinar vs. Dorinthea set from May 2022).
We've received numerous inquiries asking whether we have an official policy on rainbow foil cards and, if so, whether we will make it public.
As part of Collectors Week 2024, we are pleased to announce that the 'Cold Foil Reprint Policy' has been updated and rebranded as the 'Reprint Policy,' now encompassing rainbow foils. This update also simplifies the existing policy language and extends the cold foil reprint guidelines to include any type of retail booster set, covering our expanding product range, such as Mastery Packs.
