Week 2 is in the bag and already we've seen a monumental shift in the metagame. Kassai, Cintari Sellsword has vanished, promising to return one day and seek her vengeance. Meanwhile, the hero with the hardest case of Main Character Syndrome - Kano - has gone out in a blaze of glory. Blitz will never be the same without him...
Two more weeks remain, with endless possibilities, tribulations, and rewards. If you haven't had the chance to experience a Skirmish yet, head down to your local game store and throw yourself in headfirst - I promise the water is fine!
For now, let's check out some highlights from Week 2...
蜂蜜酒の酒場くろうさぎ - Japan

HP Wolves Den - Philippines
"This was our first time hosting Skirmish and everyone had a blast. To support the local FAB community, we added additional prizes such as Legendaries, Majestics, and even a Merlion Sigil of Solace from our private stash - so much to everyone's enjoyment they each had something to take home that day. Food and drinks were also been provided, giving the event a festive cheer. After five rounds of swiss, a Top 8 draft was held and mostly ended up being a gathering of Teklovossens, with the final being a mirror match."
1st: Chuck Cruz - Teklovossen
2nd: Carl Cedric Celera - Teklovossen
Boutique FDB - Canada
"This was Boutique FDB's first opportunity hosting a Skirmish and the community was ecstatic about being able to attend one in our own location. Vynnset was the most represented hero, followed by Kano. At the end, we witnessed a duel to the death between Kano and Boltyn. What a battle unfolded in front of our eyes! After giving it his everything trying to end Volcor’s prodigy, Boltyn had no resources left to protect himself against Kano's trickeries! Kano then decided to go for the kill, casting spell after spell, wielding his affinity to the Aether, blazing the Light Warrior more than once. This proved to be too much for the former Baron of Redmoor as he painfully fell, knowing he gave it his everything. Then, as his view started to slowly fade out, it was at this moment that he was able to understand where he made his final mistake. What battle it was… oh what a battle it was my friends. This proved to be a great day for Boutique FDB's players, and they are looking forward to the next event!"
1st: Yan Garito - Kano
2nd: Aidan Barsony - Boltyn
Mage-Ring - Philippines
"Mage-Ring just had its very first Skirmish event, and it was a blast! We had 24 players battling it out in Blitz. From beginners trying their hand to seasoned veterans showing off their skills, the mix of participants added a diverse and exciting vibe to the event. Huge thanks to everyone who joined in, making this special event a success. It really showcased our commitment to building a friendly gaming community."

Nexus - Iceland
"Second week in meant that some players had to quickly change decks, but with 14 players and 11 heroes represented we had a very good spread, including a brave Melody. After four rounds of swiss, we had our Top 4. Birgir Hrafn Buason on Kassai, Haukur Thor Buason on Bravo, Kolbrún Mist Pálsdóttir on Emperor, and Fannar Lárusson on Prism. As usual, the finals was between the Buason brothers, but in the end the winner was Birgir!"
