In 2022, we expanded Flesh and Blood into four additional languages: French, German, Italian, and Spanish. In 2024, we added Japanese.
Since then, we've released nine booster sets in these European languages. Over time, it has become clear that in German, Italian, and Spanish-speaking regions, players prefer English-language Flesh and Blood products over localized versions. As a result, beginning with High Seas, we will discontinue production of booster sets in German, Italian, and Spanish.
We want to emphasize that our commitment to these regions remains strong. To demonstrate this, we are excited to announce that the World Tour is coming to Italy and Germany, with both events featuring major Calling tournaments!
Bringing the Calling to Germany marks a significant milestone for the TCG industry. Germany’s strict gambling laws regulate cash prizing for games of chance, and we are proud that Flesh and Blood has been officially recognized by German authorities as a game of skill. This recognition follows rigorous statistical modeling, over a year of engagement with authorities, and a significant investment in the process. It was challenging, but we pursued it because we are committed to supporting the German and wider European Flesh and Blood communities—regardless of language preferences.

Beyond product localization, we will continue to provide key operational materials in local languages, particularly for Organized Play programs, to help local game stores deliver the full Flesh and Blood experience to their communities.
Finally, we want to express our gratitude to our German, Italian, and Spanish translation teams, who have worked diligently over the past three years to bring Flesh and Blood to new audiences.
