We are proud to announce that we are publicly launching our new Judge platform judge.fabtcg.com.
This beta version of the JudgeHub platform currently provides many tools for the advancement of the judge program. Players (and TOs) can now create an account with their GEM ID and have access to many features including:
- Creating and applying to judge events
- Taking judge exams (Level 0 and 1)
- Locating judges and confirming their level
- Participation in a central forum
The platform itself is still under development as we respond to the needs of the community and find a unique identity for the judge program as a whole. There are many plans for future features including judge reviews, articles, L2/L3/L4 exams and checklists, and integration with GEM.
If you’re currently a certified judge, you can sign up to the platform with your GEM ID and email, and you will be automatically certified to your judge level within a few hours. Otherwise, you can immediately begin the certification by taking the Level 0 and/or Level 1 exams. JudgeHub will now be the primary platform for testing and certification, so please encourage your fellow judges to register so they can engage with the community. Applications to staff events can also be found on JudgeHub, soon to include applications for the World Premiere of Uprising.
Along with joining the JudgeHub platform, you can also join the official judge discord, where you can find answers to all sorts of Flesh and Blood judge questions, including if you have any issues setting up your account.
Some of you may find the JudgeHub platform very familiar. That is because it is based on its predecessor JudgeApps, a community-driven judge platform that has seen great success in the TCG scene. We’ve taken this path because we believe that the JudgeHub platform will fill the role needed to advance the judge program and provide the tools to develop the community to be more cohesive and directed towards our common goal of bringing people together in the flesh and blood through the common language of playing great games.

If I passed the L0 or L1 exam before, do I have to resit it?
No. If you’ve passed the already, the Level 0 or Level 1 role should be automatically added to your account based on your GEM ID and email if they match the information you provided for your original exam. If you’ve already passed the exam, and you do not automatically receive the role, you should contact the site administrators.
Do I have to be a judge to use the platform?
No. The platform is also designed for Tournament Organizers, Scorekeepers, and players who are aspiring to become judges. Anyone can create an account and explore what we have to offer.
Why do I have to create a new account instead of using my GEM account?
Integration with the GEM platform is a future feature that we have planned, but in the meantime, we have prioritized launching the platform to ensure that judges have the tools they need to get certified, apply for events, and self-organize.
How do I take the L0/L1 exam?
First, register an account, verify your email, and log in. Then navigate to “Exam->My Exams”, then for the L0/L1 exam click “Create Exam” and follow the instructions. Finally, click “Start Exam”. For exams on the platform, you have a time limit to complete them (meaning you can leave and come back later in “My Exams”) and a cooldown period for retrying an exam (meaning you have to wait if you fail the exam).
