Heavy Hitters brings the biggest, strongest, hardest hitting fun to Flesh and Blood gaming tables yet! Featuring six heroes across Brute, Guardian, and Warrior classes, crossover hybrid cards, and more weapons and equipment than any draftable set before, the number of options for how you bring your fight to the arena are huge!

Heavy Hitters returns to classic big-hitting melee gameplay with three of the original four classes of Flesh and Blood. Whether it's Sealed Deck, Booster Draft, or Preconstructed Blitz Decks, Heavy Hitters is the perfect set to try Flesh and Blood for the first time!

NEW! Play Day Events

Heavy Hitters release weekend will feature new Play Day events, intended to be a fun, low-stakes way for casual players to play Flesh and Blood and for new players to try it for the first time.

Local game stores who host Armory Events will receive a 6-card Play Day promo pack as part of their February Armory Kit.

The suggested format for Play Day events is Heavy Hitter Blitz Preconstructed, with the first player to sign up for each of the six different heroes receiving the promo card that matches their selected hero!

Play Day events will take place in Armory Event stores across the world on the weekend of February 3rd-4th, 2024.

Enter the Arena and Win!

Five other heroes will enter the arena alongside Kassai. Some new faces looking to make their mark. Some iconic heroes back to prove they've still got it. As we head towards preview season, the entrance of each mighty contestant will be announced to the fanfare of a roaring crowd.

Throughout the Heavy Hitters organised play season, a "Deathmatch Arena" leaderboard will be maintained for the six contestant heroes. Points will be based on event wins at eligible Heavy Hitters limited format events, including:

• Road to Nationals (February-March)
• Battle Hardened
• Professional Tournament Invitationals
• Calling

The hero who sits atop of the leaderboard at the conclusion of Pro Quest Season 5 (scheduled to conclude May 5th, 2024), will be declared the Champion of Deathmatch Arena, and will have their triumph immortalized on a special prize card that will be shipped* to each player who won an event that contributed points to the winning hero's leaderboard total! Players who win multiple events with the Champion hero will receive multiple prize cards.

*to be eligible to receive this prize card, your postal address must be saved in your GEM player account on or before May 5th, 2024. Prize cards will ship in the second half of 2024.

Wager

Folk from across Rathe flock to the Deathmatch Arena and the surrounding Moat entertainment precinct to relish the many flavours of fun on the menu.

But ain't nothing free in this world. As sure as the brewskies be flowing through the Moat, and blood be flowing in the Arena, gold be the secret ingredient that keeps the fun flowing every which way you look.

Wager is a new keyword mechanic that captures the high stakes within the Deathmatch Arena and the good time vibes of the different games patrons are partial to have a flutter on in the Moat.

Pit the strength of your hand against the opponent, up the ante if you've got the gall, or maybe you just need to represent strength you don't actually have? Either way, when it's time to bet big, someone will walk away feeling like a million bucks!

Clash

Amidst the roar of the crowd, the clash of metal meeting metal, the thud of meat meeting.... meat?! resounds throughout the Arena. The crowd is left gasping on the edge of their seats, as they await to see which mighty gladiator shall reveal victorious when the dust clears.

Clash is a new combat keyword that captures the "anything-could-happen" excitement when Heavy Hitters collide!

Although favouring the heaviest of our Heavy Hitters, when the underdog flips the clash in their favour, the crowd is sure to go wild!

Ultimate Pit Fight Draft (Multiplayer)

Ultimate Pit Fight meets Booster Draft in the Deathmatch Arena!

It's as easy as an 8-person draft, splitting into two 4-person UPF pods... with a winner-takes-all final match between the two heroes who emerge victorious from their respective pods, to crown the champion of the arena!

With six different heroes to choose from, and more weapons and equipment than any Flesh and Blood set ever before, the possibilities are HUGE in Heavy Hitters Ultimate Pit Fight Draft! Equip your hero, prepare to fight, and play to the crowd with new multiplayer-optimised gear:

Pre-Release

Pre-Release events will be running in more than 1000 local game stores across the world, from Friday January 26th through to Monday January 29th, 2024.

Expansion Slot

The expansion slot returns in Heavy Hitters with new content for a range of heroes and classes outside the core classes featured in the set.

The expansion slot replaces a token in around 1 in 15 boosters.

When drafting, expansion slot cards are removed from the pack and kept by the person who opened them, the same as you do with cold foils and Legendaries. Simply remove the last two cards from the booster before drafting each pack, which will be:

• 2 token cards, or
• 1 token + an expansion slot card, or
• 1 token + a rainbow foil Legendary, or
• 1 token + a cold foil.

Non-token cards removed this way can not be included in a player's draft deck.
