More than 130 players sharpened their daggers for the Battle Hardened in Metropole Ruhr last weekend, but only one came out on top!
Although the field was littered with arrows, the top cut wasn't short of a few familiar faces. It all came down to a boiling finals with a surprising victory!
Sunday wrapped up the weekend with another Classic Constructed event, with a PTI up for grabs, and a cheeky cameo from a certain Shadow Brute in the top 8!
Battle Hardened
Taking the Switchblade into battle was a great call from players, based on recent trends we've seen at competitive tournaments. But even the Boss has unlucky days. The rest of the top cut was extremely diverse, with only Dromai showing up in a pair.
Dash, Katsu, and Kano tried to muscle in from the side but were quickly cut off. Iyslander, Oldhim, and Dromai took out the next leg of the journey, but it was crowd-favourite Volthaven darling, the Elemental Ranger Lexi, who took home the bacon!
Don't let anyone tell you a matchup is impossible. Despite the odds stacked against them, Nica Roth drew their bowstrings and slayed the dragons of Szymon Wrzesień-Kwiatkowski, winning the title, Gold Foil, and share of $2,000 USD!

Uzuri was out in force on Sunday, claiming not only the popularity vote, but a spot in top cut as well. But she wasn't alone...
Levia had come to play, as well as a hot headed Ninja, Rathe's greatest showman, and two of the sharpest shooters this side of the Pits!
After the dust settled, Jonas Stoberock, hungry for revenge after Saturday, returned to claim victory in the name of Volcor!
