25th Apr 2022 Chris Bewley

Today, we take a quick look at the Top 8 players and their heroes played across Battle Hardeneds; Taiwan- both Blitz and Classic Constructed, Madrid and Frankfurt and the first-in-Asia, Calling Taiwan.

The first ever Calling in Asia took place in Taiwan over the weekend brought to you by Fayble. The two-day main event got started on the Saturday and two Battle Hardened events went down with a Classic Constructed event the Friday before and a Blitz tournament on the Sunday.

Over in Europe, fans were treated to two more Battle Hardened events and chances to get their hands on PTIs before Pro Tour 2 in France. Saturday saw a Classic Constructed event go down in Madrid, Spain while on Sunday, Frankfurt, Germany was host to a Blitz tournament.

The Calling Taiwan

Prism, Sculptor of Arc Light and Bravo, Star of the Show were the two heroes on everyone's lips going into the Calling Taiwan. The Runeblades, particularly Viserai, Rune Blood, certainly mixed things up during the Swiss and made their presence felt in the Top 8.

After seven rounds of Classic Constructed action on day one, day two started with four more cut-throat rounds before 142 players became 8 and we got down to the elimination games.
