The 2020 Nationals season saw Matthew Rogers post an incredible 95.6% win rate with Dash across 4 Road to Nationals, culminating in a 30 match winning streak, and flawless 13-0 Nationals performance, to become the first New Zealand National Champion!

It was high octane, high speed impact and high spirits for Derk Hua Lee and Dash, the long time dynamic duo as they came out on top of a very diverse field in Malaysia! Showcasing his aptitude and elegance with the Mechanologist, Derk transformed in and out of control and proactive strategies to demonstrate sparks of genius across the tournament. Tome of Fyendal, Induction Chamber, a large suite of defense reactions and a lot of blue strip cards slowed things down and put the pressure on opponents, while hard hitting red strip attack actions boosted onto the combat chain again and again until Derk became the 2021 National Champion of Malaysia!
