Time to sharpen those daggers...

The Hunted has finally hit shelves and players are already making their mark with the new heroes and cards. We're excited to see new stores popping up all over the world, and fresh faces inside them joining the fun. The Hunted Pre-Release was an absolute blast, with players ripping open packs to find Cold Foils, Legendaries, Marvels, Extended Arts, maybe even a Fabled or two?

Whether you're on the side of the Emperor or conspiring with his Assassins, Pre-Releases are always a fantastic experience where everyone gets to come together in the Flesh and Blood to play great games.

Let's check out some highlights...

L1 Judge Megan Page says:

"On Thursday I did a video interview with Phjay asking about my thoughts on The Hunted. He asked what character I was most excited for and I said Arakni, Marionette. He followed up by asking which demi-hero I was most excited to flip into and I said Arakni, Black Widow—I forgot what she did but remembered loving the art. Today at Pre-Release I pulled the Arakni, Black Widow marvel. Major foreshadowing."

"Despite the winter chill freezing over much of the region, The Hunted Pre-Release on January 25 proved to be a thrilling and unforgettable event! Even though the cold and snow kept some players from attending, our community showed true dedication, traveling from across Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, and North Dakota. With people coming from as far as five hours away, the excitement for The Hunted was palpable, and nothing—not even the frost—could cool down the competitive energy!

The games came down to the wire, with life totals hanging on by a thread—1 or 2 points of damage separating victory and defeat. To add to the excitement, one lucky player opened a Rainbow Foil Command and Conquer from a prize pack—what a pull!

The event’s champion was none other than John-Paul D., who made the journey from Minot, ND, where he’s stationed in the United States Air Force. Visiting family in Nebraska, he took the opportunity to make the trek to Cheyenne, where his Fang deck proved unstoppable. John-Paul fought through the storm—and the competition—to claim victory, adding a personal touch of dedication to his win.

Overall, the vibe was electric, and everyone who came was excited not only about The Hunted but also about the future of the game and the growing community in Wyoming. We're looking forward to more events and to seeing where this passion takes us!"
