"It was the biggest count we've ever had for a Flesh and Blood event, with 50 players! The meta was diverse and everyone was very excited to try out their new brewed decks from the most exciting set, Heavy Hitters. Surprisingly, Olympia piloted by Andre See sliced his way undefeated through nine rounds. He immediately became the crowd favourite, finishing as the champion of the arena!"

"Kia Ora and Aloha! Mahalo (thank you) for the opportunity to host a Road to Nationals! We are excited about the growing player base in the state of Hawaii, with budding communities in Honolulu (Oahu) and Hilo (Hawaii Island). This was the largest Tier 2 event on Oahu to date, with 14 players sporting 11 unique heroes, armed with new tools from Heavy Hitters. The old guard was headed up by Scott Lee, one of the founders of Hawaii's FAB scene, sporting exciting Levia tech that included Chains of Mephetis to disrupt his opponents plans. The charging new up-and-comers were lead by Kekoa Tang, the 10-year-old phenomenon, showing No Mercy with his favorite hero: Rhinar, Reckless Rampage. Keep an eye out for more from him and his younger brother, Atlas, in the future! Ultimately, it was long time player Nick Chang bringing home the tournament with his tried-and-true Levia list forged in dozens of events over the past years. Nick managed to contain the Beast Within (after it killed him in Swiss) just long enough to pilot her to a 1st place finish. Thank you again LSS, and we hope to welcome you here one day for a Pro Tour in Honolulu!"

1st: Nicholas Chang - Levia, Shadowborn Abomination
2nd: Axel Sisbarro - Kassai of the Golden Sand

"The theme of the day seemed to be Heavy Hitters in more ways than one. Top 8 not only featured new heroes Kayo, Victor, and Kassai, but was also comprised of a star studded cast of fantastic players: Michael Feng, Barrett Goss, William Pistel, Jonathan Richards, Daniel Rutkowski, Michael Rutkowski, Rose Smyth, and Cody Williams. From a diverse field of 17 different heroes Dromai, Prism, and Boltyn were the highest represented. During the finals, the remaining attendees watched on intently while Michael Feng generously passed out Girl Scout cookies. In the end William Pistel stood tall with Levia over Cody William's Dromai to take home first place and a Gold Foil Death Dealer."

"It was an honour to host our country's Road to Nationals this year. We love organising big events that bring the community together. Seeing such a variety of players come together and compete brings joy to everyone who loves trading card games. Participating in the tournament we had players from Austria, Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia. From serious grinders to casual players, the field was varied. We hope to see such great turnout again in the future as the game keeps growing."
