The Flesh and Blood World Tour is the best TCG organized play circuit on the market! With $2,000,000 up for grabs in hundreds of events across the globe, we urge players to travel the world, make new friends, and play great games for huge cash prizes! Scott Mines breaks down what happened in December, and what’s coming up in January…

$2,000,000 across 36 pro level events.
According to the 4% rule, that’s enough money to spend $80,000 a year without ever running out of money. It’s also a whopping 13,802 booster boxes of Compendium of Rathe if you’re being sensible.
That’s the new headline for 2026. A whopping TWO MILLION dollars in cash prizing awaits the next set of brave heroes who traverse the landscapes of Rathe and battle their way to the top. Silver Age and Classic Constructed will be the formats lighting the way, and it won’t be easy to follow in the footsteps of household names like Michael Jaszczur, but somebody has to do it. Why couldn’t it be you?
If you’re looking to play a role in the next pages of the Compendium, it’s almost time to buckle up: there’s no breaks on the Flesh and Blood World Tour, and this next chapter is about to begin.
What happened in December?
As much of the community bid farewell to the Blitz format with Skirmish Season 13, stalwarts from across the globe sleeved up for one final dance in 2025. Singapore, Seoul, Vienna, Seattle, and Hong Kong all played host to holiday season scuffles with a number of impactful winners emerging.
Battle Hardened: Vienna was by far the standout here, with Jan Kučera closing the book on Kano, Dracai of Aether. The final hero standing from Arcane Rising has ascended to Living Legend with a masterful run against the field, filling those who have been scorched too my times with some early holiday joy. You’ll have to forgive the broken hearts of the Kano loyalist who had hoped to take the hero for one final ride during Road to Nationals – but this story is complete.

Paul Van Gjissel put on a mind blowing performance as he conquered the high seas of Valencia alongside Gravy Bones, Shipwrecked Looter at the very end of November, finding a way to turn three allies into over 28 points of damage prevented. Battle Hardened: Singapore saw Gordon Koh Koh triumphing over Jacob Clements with Cindra, Dracai of Retribution, while Ran Sasaki managed to topple the mighty Shirui Wu to take home the crown in Seoul, with both players also choosing to sport Cindra and Gravy Bones. A strong showing at the end of the year for these two infamous heroes.
At time of writing, I’ve got Calling: Seattle on my other monitor and Calling: Hong Kong awaiting me next week, so I’ll try to update you with some of the winners for these events early next year. The games have been delightful so far though, so I’d encourage you to go watch them if you haven’t already.
Events in January
While players are already beginning to rack up World Tour points for the second year of competition, there’s not exactly much of a leaderboard yet. I think we’ll let that section of this series warm up a little before breaking down the beginning of the race.
Until then, you might want to know when and where you need to go to get your name onto that leaderboard. January sees an entire season of Road to Nationals events across the globe alongside a pair of Callings and a whopping six Battle Hardened events to send off the iconic event before the dawn of Showdowns.
Calling: Akihabara
The season kicks off in the vibrant home of Japanese otaku culture. Akihabara is a neon-lit beacon to anime, manga, and gaming enthusiasts, and serves as a nostalgic backdrop to a weekend of Flesh and Blood between January 9-11.
$20,000 of prize money sits alongside a fistful of World Tour points, PTIs, and Gold Foils for the players most in tune with Classic Constructed, while lovers of Silver Age can find another early access Battle Hardened to enjoy. When you’re done winning with cardboard squares, swing by an iconic maid cafe and grab a refreshing beverage!
If you’re not lucky enough to be in the area, this event will be broadcast live on the Flesh and Blood YouTube channel, hosted by Mitch “Ubershouts” Leslie and former US National Champion Charles Dunn. It’s not an event to miss either way!
Calling: Columbus
The capital of Ohio hosts the first Calling in the United States this year. The bustling tech town is famous for the wonderous North Market Downtown, the Franklin Park Conservatory, and the rather surreal Otherworld. Hopefully, it’ll also be known for crowning another Calling champion between January 16-18.
Community-beloved organizer FaB Foundry will be taking care of you in Columbus, offering the same $20,000 and selection of Gold Foils you’ve come to expect from an event of this prestige. You’ll even be able to secure a PTI if you’re still hunting down a spot in Yokohama later this year.
Alongside the Classic Constructed main event will be a Silver Age Battle Hardened for you to dig your teeth into!
Battle Hardened: Atlanta
If you cannot wait that long to get your fix, head on out to Atlanta from January 9-11 to jump into one of the final Battle Hardened events in the United States. The Hollywood of the South features world-class attractions and that twang of hospitality that just doesn’t exist elsewhere – makes for the perfect retreat if you ask me.
A pair of PTIs, exclusive playmats, and a Gold Foil await the players who manage to conquer this event. I suppose $2,000 in prize money will pay from a couple of Honey Boi Chicken Sandwiches from Georgia Avenue’s How Crispy, too.
Battle Hardened: Gdansk
Poland starts the show in Europe with one of the final Battle Hardeneds for the region. If you want to stake your claim to glory, head out to the amber capital of the Baltic Sea on January 9.
Gdansk is a special place worth visiting for the Westerplatte Peninsula alone: a monument commemorating the first battle of World War II, which took place in the city all those years ago. You’ll find $2000, PTIs, and a highly coveted Gold Foil awaiting you should you manage to best the field. In fact, I’m in the mood for some Classic Constructed. Maybe I’ll see you there?
Battle Hardened: Charleroi
Although… perhaps I’ll save that weekend trip until January 23-25. I’d love to be at the final Battle Hardened in Europe: even morseo because it settles in Belgium.
Charleroi is vibrant with street art and creativity. The historic coal mining and steel hub has found a new air of life in the hands of world-class photography and comic strip culture. It’s an unconventional visit if you’re just looking for the tourist experience, but you’ll find those iconic waffles, chocolates, and beer all the same.
This event will be a full weekend of Classic Constructed, so sleeve up your best pick and get ready to clash for two PTIs, a Gold Foil, and your share of $2,000 in prize money.
Battle Hardened: Portland
Another final dance in the United States belongs to Portland. This idyllic blend of urban life and Pacific Northwest wilderness lives and breathes counterculture. The unofficial motto of the city is “Keep Portland Weird” – a phrase embodied by the offbeat music and art scene that paints every sidewalk. That’s a vibe that really resonates with me, and I’m jealous I won’t get to visit.
If you’re local enough to alleviate my jealousy, the battle takes place between January 23-25. Head down to the Oregon Convention Center and earn your share of $2,000 and a smattering of other prizes.
Battle Hardened: Bangkok
Bangkok is a paradise of ornate temples and ancient culture mixed with modern city nightlife. The capital of Thailand prides itself on being a wonderous tourist destination built on an endless flow of opportunities. Unlike most other cities, you’ll find most of the coolest sights haphazardly in Bangkok while on your way to something else. Every street is an adventure.
Part of that adventure takes place at The Hub Rangsit between January 30 – February 1, offering both Silver Age and Classic Constructed across the weekend. The main event offers $2,000 in cash prizes, exclusive playmats and a Gold Foil alongside those coveted PTIs to make for a very special weekend.
Battle Hardened: Rio De Janeiro
The bounteous Ipanema beaches seem like the perfect place to close the Battle Hardened book. Rio De Janeiro is one of the most visited cities in the southern hemisphere and champions the world renown Art Deco statue of Christ the Redeemer: a bucket location for many a soul across the world.
If you’d like to be a part of the sweet sayonara, head down to the Casa de Viseu on January 30 with your biggest and brightest Classic Constructed deck and battle it out for $2,000 in cash, a pair of PTIs and a Gold Foil.
