Road to Nationals B&W

The path to greatness starts in your store, with the 2021 Road to Nationals!

Road to Nationals provides players with a direct qualification pathway to National Champs and the chance to win elite prizes in all our supported territories. With this in mind what do you have to do to run a Road to Nationals event ?

How do I get a Road to Nationals event?

Road to Nationals events we assigned to selected stores, over 180 stores worldwide with invites being sent out on the 25th of July. Like the Skirmish series we had a look at a number of factors including events run, location and local player base. However unlike the Skirmish series we had fewer events to assign.

What are Road to Nationals events?

They are one off tournaments that provide players the chance to qualify for Nationals events. Each event offers four qualification spots and a range of additional prizes for players. Along with Pro-quests are the highest level of in-store play that are available to LGS. These events will allow players to represent their community at Nationals 2021.

When Can I Run the Event?

The Road to Nationals season will run from 31st of July to the 5th September 2021. We have a map available here here showing which events have already been set up and their dates. We suggest you take a look and see if there is a clash of dates with any stores nearby to yours when setting your date, or if you see that you are currently clashing with another store then you may wish to change the date. We may also ask you to change the date of your event if it clashes with one nearby. Please note that this map is not linked live, but we are updating it periodically.

What is the event Structure?

All Road to Nationals events use the Classic Constructed format

They must be in-store events, there will be no online events for this series

Deck lists are mandatory for these events, you can find the Decklists here

Event rounds should use the following formats for swiss and top 8
