Step 3 - How to sign up for GEM

What is GEM and where do I find it?

GEM is our event management software, it allows you to create events and set your store up in our Locator Service. You can find it and register for it here, https://gem.fabtcg.com/

What are the benefits of a GEM account

  1. You can now run official Flesh and Blood events , each event gives your players a chance to gain XP and qualify for future events.
  2. Your store is now on the OP pathway. This makes you eligible for Armory kits and events like Pre-release, Skirmish and more.
  3. Your events, store information and social media links will be displayed on the Event Locator and Store Locator at FABtcg.com giving your store additional reach, letting players know your location and upcoming events.

Who can sign up for GEM?

Any brick and mortar LGS is eligible to sign up for GEM if you wish to run events. If you want to take part in the OP pathways you will need to register for GEM. Currently each store can only have one GEM per store.

Once I apply how do I know I'm approved? How long does it take?

The OP team will email once your account has been approved. If we require any further information to approve your account we will contact you through your listed email address. Approval times will vary, making sure all your store information is correct will only help with this process.

GEM Step by Step

Step 1 - Head to https://gem.fabtcg.com/ and select the option Register

Step 2 - Please enter your Account information (please note the email address entered here will be the contact email for your store)

Step 3 - Enter your store details. If these are incorrect or unclear we will have difficulty approving your account.

Step 4 - Please make sure you enter your correct distributor as if this incorrect we will have difficulty approving your account.

Step 5 - Hit Register and your application will be off to the OP team for approval.

Step 6 - When approved you can now update store information including social media and store capacity.

Other Questions

But what if I have a player account already?

You can sign up for a store account using your player account but we would suggest you have separate account for your store. The process to do this is as follows:

Step 1 - Login at https://gem.fabtcg.com/ using your player account details.

Step 2 - You will see an option marked 'Apply for a LGS account'

Step 3 - Enter your store details. If these are incorrect or unclear we will have difficulty approving your account.

Step 4 - Please make sure you enter your correct distributor as if this incorrect we will have difficulty approving your account.

Step 5 - Hit Submit Application and your application will be off to the OP team for approval.

Step 6 - When approved you can now update store information including social media and store capacity.

Who should have access to the store GEM account?

Anyone who runs an event in your store should. Again it is one account per store which is why we suggest you should have an account solely for the store.

If I have an issue with an event in GEM what should I do?

Step 1 - Do not submit your event! Once an event is closed we are no longer able to assist.

Step 2 -Email op@fabtcg.com and provide your store details, the date of your event and description of the issue.
