Road to Nationals events are coming to a local game store near you this weekend! We've partnered with over 300 local game stores around the world to host events, giving you the chance to qualify for your National Championship. Featuring both Classic Constructed and Uprising Draft events, there are plenty of chances to get your start on the path to greatness.
Each Road to Nationals event will offer four qualification spots, plus a range of Cold Foil and Rainbow Foil prizes. Check out our locator to find your nearest event!
Our event coverage articles will start next week, but we'll also be hosting four new guest writers on our website for the course of the season.
Yichin Liu (aka MalZenith) is a Level 1 judge, one-third of the OK&Y podcast, and is known for his involvement in the community, writing articles and creating guides for new players. He recently wrote an article on our website about Draft in the era of Uprising. He'll be writing our metagame coverage for the season!
Each of our strategy article writers for the season have seen success at previous National Championships, and are bringing their insights into Classic Constructed, Draft, and more. Yuki Lee Bender is our 2021 Canadian National Champion, winning the final match with her Lexi, Livewire deck. More recently, she made the Top 32 at the Pro Tour: New Jersey, once again showcasing her skill with the Ranger class. Hamish Chisholm Brown made Top 8 at the UK National Championship with his Viserai, Rune Blood deck, and is a member of the Push the Point podcast. Lachlan Buchan made Top 4 at the 2021 Australian National Championship with his Briar, Warden of Thorns deck, and published an article about the Commoner format earlier this week.
